  • Paul J Gardner
    Founder, CEO

    Over the past 25 years, Paul has worked in sales, business development, operations management and R&D. From 2004 to 2007 Paul served as VP Operations at Rastar, during which time revenues doubled to almost $50 million. In 2009 Paul led creation of a $3.5 million photo book factory in Toronto, for Transcontinental, the company which acquired Rastar in 2008.

    Paul is a veteran of the US Coast Guard and an Eagle Scout.

  • Duane Michaelis
    Co-Founder, CTO

    From 2005 to 2010 Duane was the software architect and workflow engineer on Rastar's Photo Products project. He created the Photo Book industry's first integrated production and workflow software, enabling Rastar to produce more than a million books and $20 million annually.

    From 2008 to 2010, Duane also grew and led a software development team of twelve programmers.

    Previously Duane worked for Authorize.Net and L-3 Communications.

  • Terry A. Kirkpatrick
    Editorial Director

    Terry is a former managing editor of The Reader’s Digest, and a national feature and business writer for The Associated Press.

    Terry was the Editorial Director for Peppers & Rogers group - early innovators in mass customization and 1:1 marketing - where he created a thought leadership journal.

    Terry was deputy editor of CIO Insight magazine and a contributing editor for strategy+business, the Booz Allen journal.

  • Ed M. Esber
    Advisory Board

    Ed served as CEO of Ashton Tate and COO of Creative Labs. He was a founder, executive or board member of VisiCorp, Creative Insights, SoloPoint, Motion Computing, Blue Roads Software, Poqet Computer, Pocket.com.

    Ed currently serves on boards for Quantum Corp, iTaggit, and Case Western Reserve University.
