Co-founding Partner John M. “Chip” Weinert has for the past 28 years focused on management, marketing, fundraising, and business research and development. For the past ten years he has concentrated on initiating and nurturing profitable relationships between government and private individuals and organizations in the non-profit sector. He comes to 3-DT from his own consulting practice with a mission to help non-profits become profitable.

Co-founding Partner S. Paul Smith has over 30 years of construction, logging and commercial fishing experience. Mr. Smith owns a general contracting business in Southern Oregon successfully managing multi-million dollar construction projects. His construction management expertise is a strategic factor in the cost- and time-efficient development of Three Dimensional Timberland’s planned biomass pyrolysis facilities.
