Company Summary
Heliostats that reflect sunlight onto a target make up over 40% of the total cost of a concentrating solar power project. Thermata’s unique and aggressively low-cost heliostat field will cut this in half, making CSP finally economical for developers and owners. The market -- primarily CSP project developers -- is projected at $2-3 billion per year. Additional markets include enhanced oil producers and process steam in dry, sunny climates.
