The EcoHub™ provides a crowdfunding platform for eco-friendly projects, called EcoProjects. We believe that by funding EcoProjects, people join a community that betters the environment. Our scope of impact surpasses typical crowdfunding platforms because our value comes from connecting individuals to create a critical mass collectively working to improve and invest in the environment. Our mission is to leave the world better than we found it.

  • Shannon Clarke
    Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

    Before The EcoHub, Shannon worked as a local government consultant for the American Institute of Architects, where she was a contributing author to the Green Schools Report. Shannon also interned for the National Association of Counties, providing technical training for energy-efficiency, and authoring multiple environmental articles. Shannon graduated from the University of North Florida and is currently pursuing her JD from Vermont Law School.

  • Susan Goehring Bailey
    Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder

    Most recently, Susan was the Clean Energy Policy intern at VPIRG, where she authored a comprehensive white paper on electric vehicle policy, and the Wind Campaign Coordinator at Renewable Energy Vermont. Prior to the EcoHub, Susan spent nearly 5 years in the sales and marketing department of Condé Nast’s WIRED magazine. She is a graduate of Middlebury College and received her Master of Environmental Law & Policy (MELP) from Vermont Law School.

  • Brianne Marie Fischer
    Chief Financial Officer & Co-Founder

    Before coming to Vermont, Brianne worked in Haiti for the Hands On Disaster Response and for AmeriCorps*VISTA in Iowa City, IA. She studied Economics and International Business at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, where she focused on access to capital in emerging markets. Brianne is currently pursuing a JD from Vermont Law School where she has interned for the Grameen Foundation’s legal department.

  • Casey Lyon
    Chief Technology Officer

    Casey is a partner at Boswellness, a socially responsible business focused on sustainable ethnobotanicals in East Africa. Prior to Boswellness, he worked for Earthcars.com and was promoted to CIO when it became Dealer.com. Casey is a part of the Keep Burlington Telecom Local group working to transform the municipally-owned broadband provider into a co-op. Casey attended the University of Vermont, where he studied mechanical engineering.

  • Heather Croshaw
    Benefit Director

    Heather is a fellow at Vermont Law School’s Center for Applied Human Rights, recently externed at the Center for International Environmental Law, and was a representative at the COP18 UNFCCC in Doha. She's held research positions at Global Witness, the Environmental Law Institute, and the World Wildlife Fund. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, has a Master of Environmental Management from Duke, and is pursuing a JD at Vermont Law School.
