Company Summary

We're making an episodic time travel adventure game for kids 8-13, based on real history and archaeology, built on proven entertainment platforms but designed to foster historical knowledge, empathy and global citizenship. With a core point-and-click adventure game set in a virtual world and rooted in an overarching story, serial fiction and real world play span the digital/real world spectrum. It's enriching fun both kids and parents can love.

    Karen is an anthropologist and historical archaeologist. She has held academic positions in the US and abroad, and advocates public engagement to open scholarly research to the largest possible audience. She has a BA in English from Yale and a PhD in Anthropology from NYU. She serves on the Boards of three educational nonprofits. Her own tween children inspire her every day to foster informed, empathetic global citizenship through story and play.

    Mr

    Lucas is a writer and game experience designer. With a background in creative writing and history, he has worked on several projects as writer, narrative designer and consultant, crafting transmedia experiences from the ground up. He speaks and writes regularly about transmedia theory, and is a respected member of the international transmedia community. He has a BFA with Honors in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia.

    Jon Bellinger is Digital Strategy Director at JWT, specializing in social media, marketing, public relations, and content creation. Previously, as Director of Social Media Strategy for Ketchum, he created successful social media programs for Fortune 100 companies Kodak, IBM, Nokia, Frito-Lay, Dr. Pepper, Cadbury-Adams, and Haagen-Dazs. He was named one of PR Week's "Top 40 under 40" in 2010. Jon holds a BA in English and History from Yale.
