Healthy Reads is about fostering community for the public health sector so we can better collaborate and connect online. Public Health represents the "other half of the health sector" that is not as sexy or attention grabbing as medicine; rather, we focus on prevention, policy and population health and are currently under-targeted in the digital health space.

    Founder

    Andrea is a biological scientist and public health promoter with about 10 years of experience working in the community health sector in Canada and abroad. She graduated with her undergraduate in Biological Sciences and Masters in Public Health from the University of Toronto. Andrea has worked for organizations such as the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and is a youth advisor to the Canadian Commission for UNESCO and Advocates for Youth.
