Company Summary

The People's Vision provides a new social-business platform called The People's Business which delivers an integrated portfolio of mobile and Internet solutions to provide a unified experience to users via an inclusive business model. This reduces the negative effects of increasing unemployment, especially among the youth, the growing disparity between the wealthy and the poor, and their combined negative effect on people's lives.

    Founder & CEO

    Theo was involved in the introduction of pioneering Unified Communications technologies into Europe for Vivao Plc, Technology and Marketing consultancy for telecoms companies Transnet, Euphony and Stanhope, and while with Hanson Cooke publishing, facilitating international Public-Private Partnerships at Board and Ministerial level for the Commonwealth Secretariat. Theo received a United Nations Award for designing the UN's MDG Game.

    International Payments & Operations Manager

    Guy RakhamGuy is a business and systems architect with thirty years of experience mostly in financial services. He originated and subsequently led the development of a business modelling technique called Component Business Modeling (CBM™). His work with IBM resulted in 25+ patent applications. Guy has directed staff and project teams exceeding 100 personnel and has overseen extensive technology initiatives with budgets up to $100m.

    Peter Joyce comes from a technology and business hybrid background. Peter’s experiences began initially in the service industry producing software solutions for international clients on behalf of ICL (International Computers Limited). Peter has worked for Goldman Sachs where he headed up the European Technology Support Operations and chaired the London Business Continuity Management team.

    Amir Dossal is Founder and Chairman of the Global Partnerships Forum, an international platform working to address economic and social challenges, through the creation of innovative partnerships. He is also the Co-Initiator of the Pearl Initiative, a CEO-led program, promoting transparency and accountability in the Gulf Region. Prior to2010, Amir was the United Nation's Chief Liaison for Partnerships.

    Advisory Board Member

    Edward worked in the Bank of London & South America in Rio de Janeiro Brazil from 1968 - 1971. He trained as a Chartered Accountant from 1972 - 1976 and travelled round the world in 1977. In 1978 Edward joined Hoares Bank and became a Bankers' Agent (Director equivalent) .
    In the 80s and 90s Edward designed relational databases, free format search mechanisms, risk management systems and a location-based interactive guide system.

    Advisory Board Member

    Mrs. Coumba Touré is the founder and President of Advanced Development for Africa (ADA) Foundation. Born in Mali. Since 2000, Mrs. Touré has worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) where she effectively developed and implemented the African AIDS Vaccine Program (AAVP). During this time, she also worked on its strategic plan and established partnerships within the WHO as well as with external partners.

    Former Minister of Communications of Finland. Ms Lindén was previously Minister of Culture, 1999-2002. She is a member of the National Coalition Party and has been a Member of Parliament since 1995. Ms Lindén has held positions of trust in a number of organisations. These include positions as Chair of the Ubiquitous Information Society Advisory Board and Training Board and Member of the Oulu City Council. In the Government.
