The Mental Health Project
The Mental Health Project is looking for support to open a peer support line in Ottawa, Ontario as part of our Mental Health strategy.
The Mental Health Project is a nonprofit organization offering peer support to Ontario youth ages 12-21. The organization was founded in July 2011 by Dustin Garron who was hospitalized for teen depression and hospitalized for each of his seven overdoses. On August 19th, Dustin lost his best friend, Robbie Dean to suicide. Now, TMHP has grown into an incorporated nonprofit organization that offers peer support all over the Province.
