The MWh saves businesses time and money, and helps clients look good. In deregulated electricity markets, commercial and industrial (C&I) customers spend $300 billion/yr on electricity and natural gas. Customers pay an additional $.5 billion per year on consultants and brokers because they don't know how to manage their energy purchases. The target market for energy supplier and usage information services is ripe for disintermediation.
