As a Physical Education Instructor he has taught for about 4-years and coaching girls and boys volleyball when he realized students were developmentally behind and knew if students didn't receive more training there dreams of playing in high school and beyond would never materialize. ARROYO Volleyball Club was formed in 1998 and this began the process of hundreds of young boys and girls getting help to become the best they can possibly be.

Mariola Wlazel obtained a degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health with a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2009.

Recently, she completed the Sport Business Management Graduate Certificate program from Durham College. Mariola has also been an athlete for most of her life. She has played basketball on many levels, from provincial to university teams.
