Gregory Emsellem founded Elwing in 2002 to develop electric propulsion systems for the satellite industry. He has served as a senior propulsion consultant for NASA/JPL and Thales Electron Devices where he provided significant expertise into Lithium MPD and the early steps of HEMP thruster. He is a “Normalien”, alumni of the Ecole Normale Superieure in Lyon, France and holds a Masters degree in Plasma Physics from the Universite Paris-Sud Orsay.

Pierre Devos is one of the co-founders of the Elwing Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant, the owner of “Cabinet Devos” and a start-up specialist for French Ministère du Travail (DoL). He was one of the founding partners of Cabex the 1st European Network of Independent Accounting & Consulting Professionals. He holds a DEC (Diplome d'Expertise Comptable) Corporate Law & Finance from Université Paris X Nanterre.

Al Pizzica, who graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and also holds an MBA from Villanova University, worked in senior management roles at a regional healthcare provider, in aseptic manufacturing for Merck, and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy (Submarine Squadron Operations and as a Reactor Controls Officer on a Submarine).
