Current Business:
We operate 2 sidewalk carts in downtown SF where we serve chai by the cup to ~400 customers per day (75% of which are repeat customers)
We cater chai for office events, conferences, parties and weddings
We supply our Chai Latte Brews to local cafes and corporate kitchens at Google Inc. (our brews have 50% less sugar than leading brands of concentrates).
Our products are also sold in specialty grocery stores in SF

    Paawan Kothari is a seasoned hi-tech marketer and strategist with over 10 years of experience working for large and small technology companies. In 2009, Paawan started The Chai Cart®, as an informal food cart to serve homemade chai. A year later, she quit her job to bring together her passions for sustainability and healthy lifestyle with her desire to be an entrepreneur. Paawan has a computer science degree from USC and a MBA from INSEAD.
