The Washing Machine Project’s mission is to design and distribute a low-cost, water-saving, manual washing machine that will provide displaced and low-income populations with an alternative to hand washing clothes. We are a grassroots social enterprise currently piloting an off-grid machine in Iraqi refugee camps with the aim of launching our B-to-C product by Q4 2021 so that everyone, everywhere can have access to our machines.
