The TOI Soldier Project is a very young company but the idea has been in development for over five years. Our CEO, Heraclio K Aguilar III, is a combat veteran that has been diagnosed with PTSD in 2007 and he developed the company during his road to recovery. What started as a way to share his stories with his family evolved into so much more so he began the process of making his platform available to everyone. Many mental wellness professionals have contributed their professional knowledge during the development stage and now that the prototypes are finished we are moving into the experimental stage. Our CEO has made arrangements with different Veteran Organizations in the Los Angeles area to test the product within their own veteran communities for feedback.
My company has two products available to the public; a comic book series and a coloring book series, both can and will be used as therapeutic tools. In our first series, The Tale Before Time, sets up the universe and each following series follows the tales of a single soldier.
