The Company opened a 2,000 sq ft showroom in Mayfair in June 2014 through which it sells a curated range of hand-made and bespoke products to interior designers and taste-makers.

    Mark is 62 and has spent his professional life working with British Brands internationally. He is Chairman of Gieves & Hawkes of Savile Row and was previously its CEO (1996 to 2009), prior to that he was with Alfred Dunhill as head of marketing and with Mary Quant. Amongst other roles, he is a director of Walpole, the British Luxury Goods Association and chairs a course at London Business School on Luxury Management.

    Natalie Melton, Managing Director, co-founded The New Craftsmen shortly after leaving Arts & Business – described by The Sunday Times as “the most successful arts-funding organisation this country has everknown” – where she was Commercial Director for 5 years, managing a £2m investment programme for the arts with companies including Sky, BP, Prudential and American Express.

    Catherine Lock, Creative Director and co-founder, with responsibility for creative direction, product development and the selection of Makers. Catherine spent 15 years as a product, trend and brand developer for British high street brands such as Sainsbury’s, Habitat and John Lewis

  • Yelena Ford
    Commercial Director

    Yelena Ford - Commerical Director, oversees sales, marketing and strategy for the commissioning and showroom business of The New Craftsmen. Yelena joined the business in June 2014 from Wolff Olins where she had been lead strategist and worked on business development since 2010. She is a graduate of LSE and SOAS.
