NFG pioneered and perfected technology to produce sub-micron, plastic fibers (nanofibers). Using this technology, NFG has sold filtration media to GE; wipes to 3M and know-how to P&G. It is now shifting its emphasis from production to that of selling licenses to manufacture and sell nanofiber, as well as the proprietary equipment necessary to produce them. Because of this new focus, many consider NFG to be a start-up.
