The LINS Locking Intramedullary Nail System is indicated for the fixation of extra-articular fractures of the long bones of the hand including the metacarpals AND the metatarsal bones of the foot. Unlike existing systems and methods, LINS can be used for all types of fractures: oblique, transverse, comminuted and of the metacarpal neck. Additionally, LINS can me inserted retrograde or antegrade to the fracture addressing boxer's fractures.
