Company Summary

The Great Unwashed is a highly experienced games development studio. We specialize in “high impact” comedy games.
The team comprises key members of Rockstar Games and have created many hits.
There is a big gap in the market for comedy games, so we are working with professional comedy writers and comedians from the TV and movie business to put that right. Our first project is an original series and satirical content platform called World Leaders.

    Co-Founder & CEO

    Jeff Tawney’s background is in marketing, business development and games production. Over the 24 years he has worked in the games industry he has had senior publishing roles at Time Warner Interactive, Philips Media and Sega. He also founded the games consultancy Hairy Moose and the specialist handheld studio Razorback Developments.

    Co-Founder, Creative & Technical Director

    Jason McGann is a games designer, artist and programmer with 26 years in the industry. He has had key creative and management positions at Rockstar Leeds and Mobius Entertainment. Notable titles he has played a major role in include Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice City Stories, Midnight Club, Lego Drome Racers, Alfred Chicken and WWF Wrestle Mania.
