The Columbus Project is a blend of a for-profit LLC and a non-profit LLC. Our apprenticeship program is situated within the non-profit, with all executive management performed by the for-profit. We provide a 3-year apprenticeship in construction trades to women reentering society after incarceration. We also create affordable housing units as a byproduct of training. We make a difference.
