Telocyte is focused on curing Alzheimer's disease using telomerase therapy. Both theoretical considerations and animal data make us reasonably confident that we can both prevent and largely reverse the cognitive decline seen in Alzheimer’s patients. We are planning FDA-sanctioned human trials to begin Q3 of 2017. Based on the rapid clinical responses seen in the lab, we anticipate completing our phase 1 FDA trial in six months.
