Dana holds a PhD in Cognition and Learning from Columbia University. She has over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from diverse backgrounds. She has extensive experience researching children’s mathematical development and designing educational software for young children.

As a math curriculum designer, Kara brings over 10 years experience as a teacher, having taught all ages from 3-year-olds to adults. Kara first developed math curriculum with the Berkeley Mathematics Professional Development Institute before moving to New York and becoming a research fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, co-managing a $1.7M grant developing early childhood math software.

Rachael has 10 years of experience in education and is passionate about providing young children high-quality educational opportunities. She is a PhD Candidate in Cognitive Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University where she co-managed a $1.7M grant to develop and research early childhood mathematics software. She brings this experience to Teachley where she manages company Operations.

Jonah is a creative technologist who specializes in the design and creation of playful interactive systems. After graduating as valedictorian of Parsons School of Design’s MFA program in Design & Technology, he returned as a faculty member teaching courses in Java, C++, and Game Design. Jonah has developed numerous award-winning mobile games. He joins Teachley as CTO.
