Company Summary

We developed a new biosensor that: works for all body sizes; is accurate during normal activity; is designed for light-weight/long-life battery operation to support wearable applications; and easily integrates into existing or new biometric devices.

This sensor will dramatically improve the surveillance and care for out-patients with respiratory and cardiac problems, plus enable new markets for the current medical oximeter providers, e.g. early detection of sepsis. This novel sensor will help detect physiological changes in athletes and people in high-risk vocations.

COPD, heart disease and Sepsis affect 50 million Americans costing the healthcare system $100 billion annually.

What if we had a simple tool to detect these conditions before they became a major healthcare emergency?

We believe the best solution is a small wearable biosensor that monitors physiological changes and detects worsening health conditions in patients. This sensor can be used both in an in-hospital or out of the hospital situation.

The new biometric insights from this sensor will empower patients and the healthcare system to improve medical treatments and drive down care costs.

Our core management team combines passion and broad experiences in corporate and start-up environments including: the medical field, mechanical product design, technology sales and business development, as well as consumer and medical medical marketing.

We are an early stage startup that has filed a patent application, built a prototype, validated the technology, finished as a semi-finalist the recent Mayo Clinic’s Think Big Challenge competition and have captured the interest of application developers and device manufacturers in the Sports and Clinical markets.
