18 years experience in Financial Services sector occupying a series of Senior Marketing Management positions. Spent a further 12 years working in senior roles for Marketing Agencies. 9 years as co-owner of Forth Marketing Services, who specialised in data, CRM, email and legislative communications. Has spent the last 5 years as a consultant working on a wide variety of projects and has dedicated the last 18 months to Taxi Game Ltd.

Derek created and launched the original Edinburgh and Glasgow editions of the Taxi Board Game. Although he has a background in both mechanical and electrical engineering Derek has adapted well to all aspects of board game production and has a good knowledge of the retail market in this sector.
