Highly resolved sub-Terahertz Molecular Spectroscopy as a label and reagent free technology for bio-detection and identification of pathogen in small samples.
Vibratess, LLC, a spin-off from University of Virginia, used patented technology to build highly sensitive spectroscopic systems for visualization of unique fingerprints from biological molecules, and demonstrated device applications for reagent free detecting and identifying biological cells or spores related to food quality and infections, and for discriminating between molecules from cancer and normal cells circulated in body liquids.
