Tarzan suggests convenient meeting times and locations, plans the easiest way there, sends you alerts and notifies others if you are late. We've been featured in The New York Times, GigaOm and CNET. Our freemium model minimizes customer acquisition costs and ensures quick viral marketing to our highest value users. We are seeking $150K to complete the first phase of product development and marketing, which will get us to revenue.

    Chief Tarzan

    Before Tarzan, Phil was the Dir of Biz Dev at Suntech. He co-founded SunPower’s utility group, and drove the effort to build a $180M solar project, the largest in the US at the time. Prior to solar, Phil helped fund mobile startups founded by Chinese students at US schools. One gained backing by DFJ and later sold for $20M. Previously, Phil managed global membership at Yahoo. Phil has a MBA and MS in Comp Sci at UCLA, and a BA at Stanford.

  • Ezra Goldman
    Chief Tarzan

    Ezra co-founded a popular campus bikeshare system in 1999. He worked on a shared use, folding electric scooter for Piaggio at MIT Media Lab under Bill Mitchell. The founder of Zipcar asked him to run GoLoco rideshare but he declined. He was developing peer-to-peer carsharing in 2009. Ezra has a Master's in City Planning from MIT, where he studied mobile work and did PhD research on transportation at the University of Copenhagen.

    Dan has consulted for clients like Marriott, Yahoo, CityCarShare on usability and innovation strategy. He built a crawler for eBay to mine and analyze web content with all open-source tools. This analysis debunked industry “best practices” and shaped future site development. Dan has a Master of Info Mgmt & Sys from UC Berkeley and a BA in Political Studies at Gordon College.
