Tangram will create 3-4 connected fitness devices, building a captive base of platform users on the Smart Gym mobile platform.
With a captive base of platform users, we accelerate growth by going B2B, creating a fitness hub for gyms and fitness chains.
Ultimately we give device-generated fitness data back to the user, to leverage with healthcare and insurance providers.

    Deokhee Jeong founded Tangram Design Lab in 2008, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design agency based in Seoul. Deokhee built Tangram into a 30 person, $4 million business. In late 2014, Tangram Factory was founded to create IOT products and mobile platforms in the connected health space. Deokhee was formerly a senior design manager at Samsung and iRiver.

    CFO

    Alex Woo serves as CFO of Tangram Factory. Previously Alex served as the Managing Director of Esang Technology Investment, the lead VC that funded Tangram Factory. Alex comes from a background in long short hedge funds, with a focus on consumer internet and mobile.
