Helge is an award-winning technologist, entrepreneur, and a recognized global authority on technology transfer and display technologies. His past successes include the transformation of raw university IP into fully commercialized LED TV technology. Brightside Technologies, his previous company, sold to Dolby Laboratories for US$28M in 2007. Helge holds over 40 patents in the fields of display, camera and video technology.

Since starting her career as a chartered accountant at KPMG, Emilie has led finance functions for prominent technology companies: Softimage, CGI, and most recently for Averna Technologies, a US$30M business with 300 employees, whom she served as CFO. Emilie holds degrees from McGill University, HEC and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Over the past 15 years of his career in software design, Martin has held development and technical leadership positions at Matrox, Discreet & AutoDesk. Jobs in the start-up space have included Director of Engineering at DigiScreen and Head of Development at First Person Plural Inc.. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Katie Young Morris served as a Program Manager at the University of New Brunswick where she worked extensively in partnership research and knowledge transfer. She holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management, a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership and a Masters of Philosophy in Policy Studies from the University of New Brunswick.
