Our cooling unit utilizes a patented novel cycle of cooling requiring only two moving components eliminating the need for an energy consuming and maintenance needy compressor and chemical refrigerants. Crista Nicole ShopisPresident and Co-Founder
Crista Shopis, President, worked as senior engineer and department manager at Taitem Engineering and has significant experience in mechanical engineering and energy studies. Crista led the team that built and tested the Synairco model, assembling much of the unit herself. In 2009, Crista was designated one of the "40 Under 40" outstanding young engineers by Consulting and Specifying Engineer Magazine.

Founded Taitem Engineering in 1989. Taitem’s core business is consulting services, with annual sales approaching $3 million. Prior to that, he worked for 7 years at Carrier Corp. where he designed air conditioning equipment.
