Company Summary

SwissLeg is a Social Business created in 2012. Our mission is to provide mobility to amputees in the developing world through the innovative technology that allows amputees to walk comfortable and also run. We set up new prosthetic centres or collaborated with existing ones through partnership agreements to provide mobility to at least 8000 amputees in the Middle East, Africa and Asia in the next 5 years.

    Paulo is an associate professor at the faculty of Economics at the University of Lugano (USI), director of the Master of Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MASHLM) and a research affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) He holds a Ph.D. from MIT’s Sloan and a M.Sc. from MIT. 15y experience applied research Responsible for the strategic design and planning of scaling operations as well as general operations management.

Inventor and designer of SwissLeg technology. 20y experience in the field. he directs the prosthetic center in Irbid, Jordan Graduate of the Master in Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MASHLM) USI Lugano.
