Swimmit is a company addressed to provide solutions to the large sport industry around the world, the Swim (with almost 1.5B of swimmers worldwide)

The first product in our roadmap is a mobile marketplace for helping swimmers and swim train professionals connect. Helping the swim train professionals in their painful task to build their customer base.

Hire a swim train professional, or any other service that most of the master amateur athletes have started consuming, is a local decision in the most part of the situations. You decision is based on your work place location, or your home location. So, an LBS solution fits perfectly with the need to find best services around.

Unlike in other sports, like run or bike, to achieve a swim's challenge, for example to achieve your first open water swim, your first triathlon and so on, the most part of the population needs a swim coach supervision, needs to join a training group.

In that way, the mobile value proposition, is not provide a track application, or a own-coach application, the value proposition is help you easily discover what is going on around you. Where you friends are training? What challenges their are joining? When they will enjoy an open water swim?

For that first version the identify revenue stream are:
* Monthly/Yearly fee from swim professionals who want to become part of the train professional directory listing
* Swim meet / Professional events promotion: We've integrated Google's DFP to let the swim professionals address the promotion of their meetings to the right audience
* Advertising: We've connected with the most relevant brands in the market (FINIS, Orca, Sailfish, Zoot) to let them promote their brands in a market fit database
* Destination Promotion: We've connected also with tourism organizations who want to promote their destinations for swimmers.

We recently have been awarded for the WOWSA 2015 as best offering of the year by the Worldwide Open Water Swimming Association.
