Has led the technology for Alza, Key, Genentech, Corium and Cygnus. He has invented Transdermal Drug Systems for scopolamine, conidine, nicotine, hormone replacement and birth control. He holds more than 30 US patents related to transdermal. He is a recognized, world-wide expert in Transdermal Drug Delivery.

He has led the development of 29 early stage companies. He served as a director of Dermatrends, the company that developed this transdermal technology. He has built and sold companies to A.C. Nielsen, IBM, Clark Bardis among others. His skills are particularly strong in focusing resources in the early stage company to accomplish the strategy, build the team and achieve the promised results prescribed by the company's business plan.
