After graduating from Dartmouth College with a concentration in Economics and History, Mike went on to play professional ice hockey within the farm system of the NY Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Mike's hockey career also took him to the UK, where he completed an MBA in International Finance at Cardiff University. Mike returned to the US to work at Morgan Stanley, and began developing SurfSET Fitness while living in Boston.

Sarah studied commerce at the University of Virginia before transferring abroad to concentrate in Journalism and Digital Media at London's prestigious City University. While in London Sarah founded bakery startup Midnite Cookies, and her strategic branding and marketing campaign allowed the company to sell for a large profit just 6 months later. She is also a graduate of AAPT and IIN, where she studied her true passions of fitness and nutrition.

Bill graduated from Stonehill College in 2009, where he captained the championship ice hockey team and majored in Finance and Economics. Bill went on to work at Fidelity Investments for two years before joining the SurfSET Team.
