Dr. Collins is a trained infectious disease epidemiologist with a PhD in Global Health from the UC San Diego. Prior to her work at SureAdhere Mobile, she collaborated with Dr. Garfein on the design, implementation, and evaluation of the VDOT system beginning with the initial NIH-funded VDOT study in 2009. She is a co-author on a number of peer-reviewed articles focused on increasing adherence to anti-tuberculosis treatment.

Dr. Richard Garfein is a healthcare innovator who works in tuberculosis (TB) globally, developing technology-based interventions for improving patient adherence to anti-TB treatment and evaluating molecular assays for rapid detection of drug resistant TB. He developed the Video-DOT system that has been evaluated for monitoring medication adherence in health districts with some of the highest TB incidence rates domestically and abroad.

Bill Coyne is an entrepreneur, business executive, attorney, consultant, investor and independent board member. In addition to his work with SureAdhere, Coyne is the Co-Founder, Founding Board Chair and Initial Lead Investor of The Black Tux, Inc. Previously, Coyne served as President and CEO of Raley’s Family of Fine Stores, a privately held chain of supermarkets operating in California and Nevada with revenues in excess of $3.4 billion.

An experienced technology professional and an expert in production systems and corporate enterprise solutions, Dushan has more than 15 years of experience in building high availability, networked and cloud-based systems. He has a proven track record of delivering stable and productive suites of integrated systems (home grown and off-the-shelf) across the Enterprise.

Dan Luis is a serial CEO and has served in this role for venture, private equity and publicly owned communications service businesses, all of which are leaders in their field. These brands include Purple, GoAmerica and Wynd Communications. Luis is also a Co-founder of Concila, Inc., a company committed to making health care more accessible for those least able to afford it. Luis currently serves as President and General Manager of IOVOX.
