Ted has owned the company since 1963. He has always been in retail. In the 1980's he started wholesaling different products, primarily sewing machines, vacuums, and heaters. He began importing his own brand (Sunheat) of heaters in 2005. His experience in sales and marketing helped him build a large independent dealer base as well as becoming a vendor for large coops, several buying groups, and several large internet companies.

Josh has a business and marketing degree from UNL as well as 15 years of sales experience. He has ten years of experience in marketing, dealer development and management. Josh travels to all of the major tradeshows. He works directly with the overseas factories that produce our products. He has been with the company for 15 years. Josh also oversees all marketing from start to finish. Josh assists in all major business decisions.

Rod is the operations manager of the Sunheat owned, 56,000 square foot, Embark Millwork, Design, and Finishing facility. Rod has been with the company for six years and has over 15 years of experience in sales and management.

Julie oversees the Sunheat dealers in the western half of the United States. She also works directly with many of our larger buying groups and co-ops such as Ace Hardware, True Value, BrandSource, and TRIB. Julie has 15 years of sales experience and has been with the company for 8 years.

James is in charge of research, development and quality control of all of our products. He is instrumental in overseeing cabinet production at our state of the art woodworking factory. James trains essential production staff to perform set protocols. James has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing. He is in charge of researching and developing new products. James developed and patented the first ever infrared fireplace.
