Company Summary
Strength ABCs mission is to help cancer survivors regain the loss of daily activities as a result of cancer and treatment. Many find it impossible to lift their children, groceries, or do basic work functions. The Company will train and certify cancer centers to deliver the programs, meeting new accreditation and reimbursement standards. Our E-Health site will be the hub to reach the most survivors with interactive ongoing exercise training.

Dr. Cook has extensive experience in the medical device and rehabilitation industry, and new product launches. She was the Director of the Hearing Aid Program at Mayo Clinic. She has been in senior management in two start-up medical companies where she developed the training and education strategy and led the development of the medical affairs team. She has published in medical journals and is a certified group exercise instructor.

Kathryn H SchmitzCSO
Kathryn Schmitz, PhD, MPH, FACSM is the founder of Strength ABCs, and a professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the role of physical activity on the etiology, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation from chronic diseases, with primary focus on obesity and cancer. Her PAL Trial (NCI R01-106851) results are the of the Company.
