Rea, a Rose-Hulman educated optical and mechanical engineer, has over ten years high-tech, new product development experience. In 2009 Gerald opted to develop and bring his own products to market. The Plasma Lighting Fixture was the result. And while he focuses his energies on successfully running Stray Light, Rea is an inventor and product developer at heart. His expert’s touch is found in every one of the company’s products.

Drake earned a Mechanical Engineering degree with minors in Computer Science & Biomedical Engineering. He used MEMS technology skill to improve igniter designs for missile systems, and management expertise to grow a startup from 8 to 100 employees, while developing web-based user interfaces for data automation systems. Drake’s strong technical background has proven invaluable as Stray Light has grown into a major player in the lighting industry.

Kellems, Chief of Marketing, holds a graduate degree in national security studies from Georgetown University. Kevin has held senior posts at the White House, DOD and U.S. Senate. He brings experience from a wide range of strategic growth initiatives, from direct sales to government and industry, to advising senior government and DOD leaders. Kellems leads the Stray Light team of seasoned marketing communications professionals.

David Badger brings 18 plus years production experience to Stray Light. He plans, coordinates and oversees the lighting fixture manufacturing process, ensuring that all orders are completed and shipped on time and that each meets stringent QC standards. With new product lines continually in development, David works closely with engineering and sales teams to make sure each can be brought to market as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Stotts has more than 24 years experience in accounting and finance for several industries, as well as expertise in startups, turn-arounds, merger and acquisitions, and expansions. He brings a focused fiscal responsibility through conservative decision making supported by detailed investment and risk analysis, and can develop accurate business models including projected cash flow integrated with sales, production/cost of sales and budgeting.

Garcia joined Stray Light with
many years successful sales experience in the Lighting Industry. Here, he is responsible for all sales in the U.S. and Canada as well as new product development. He has extensive knowledge in setting up and managing a sales force, as well as developing and implementing new product lines. John is a great fit to lead Stray Light’s top-notch sales team and rep agency.
