StratoSolar is developing a new photovoltaic (PV) power plant technology that is based on deploying existing PV technology in an environment that makes it three times as effective for the same capital cost. This makes the electricity it produces one third the cost of ground PV or around $0.06/kWh at today's PV costs. This is important because it makes electricity for less than that from the cheapest fossil fuel. Our customers are utilities.
