StockViews is a marketplace that connects professional asset managers with a network of freelance independent analysts. We select top analysts with previous experience at an investment bank and provide them with the technology to publish, distribute and monetise equity research.

As with other marketplace models (e.g. Uber, Task Rabbit), our aim is deliver value (stock research) from a producer (an analyst) to a consumer (an asset manager) as efficiently as possible. We intend to charge a subscription fee to asset managers to access the research, passing on approximately 80% of that fee to our analysts according to the contribution they make. We measure the contribution of each analyst based on:
(1) the performance of stock recommendations, and;
(2) quality of research (as determined by asset manager ratings)

Longer term we intend to use artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance the quality and speed of research production.
