He brings years of experience owning and managing past businesses and, as a former Marine, a hard work ethic. Nashville native, Long Beach transplant, Jess brings the integrity & fortitude needed to lead an industry-changing business. Her past experience includes managing community gardens, developing sustainable food systems curriculum & an MBA from Pinchot. Jess’s attention to learning & growth via feedback make for an adaptive and cohesive team.

First connected to the farm while earning her MBA at Pinchot, Alana’s drive is to build communities that thrive together. Alana’s superpower is connecting to people & she’s brought that full force to the Starvation Alley team. She develops & maintains relationships with our most important stakeholders including distributors, food collaborators & the sustainable business community.

Alex met the farmers when earning his MBA at Pinchot. With 5+ years management experience in high-volume foodservice Alex combines his knowledge of the industry with his expertise in innovative financing. He’s also a founder of Community Sourced Capital, a B-Corp committed to changing local finance for good.
