SSX provides a regulated marketplace for startups to sell ownership shares directly to qualified global investors. The listed shares trade freely on a government regulated securities exchange (DCSX) providing investors a liquid market where they can invest at any level of ownership and any stage of growth. The Startups raise money at a significantly lower cost of capital and in a shorter period of time than current money raising methods.

    Ian was a Customer Relationship Management Consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers with engagements in the USA, South Korea and Europe. He also worked as a financial analyst at the $30 Billion Massachusetts Pension Fund, in Boston, USA. He started and eventually sold the first daily promotion website in Costa Rica. His background as an entrepreneur and awareness of the challenges faced when seeking capital led him to create Startup Stock Exchange.

    CIO & Co-Founder

    Brian Niessen has been an entrepreneur, software architect, and project manager for 35 years. He has held C-level positions on major projects in e-commerce, online banking, online gaming, real-time search, internet security, and large scale real-time transaction systems.

    As a Co-Founder, his cross discipline expertise provides vision, stability, analysis and direction to the SSX project.
