MBA graduate and Mizzou Football player, Clint Matthews has always had a passion for entrepreneurship. Clint spent his early years working in accounts receivable at a lumber yard, then went back to school to get his MBA and launch four companies over the span of five years, the first of which successfully patented and licensed technology currently used worldwide in the HVAC industry. He has experience raising capital and managing company growth.

Having spent most of his career consulting for major brands and grocery stores, Gene saw the market need for a better-for-you breakfast brand and teamed up with Clint & Kyle to help launch the Start Right brand. He brough 40+ years of CPG experience, with clients including Proctor & Gamble, Anhueser-Busch, and Phillip Morris, along and wealth of contacts and investors to the team.

A former Track & Cross Country athlete for the University of Missouri, Kyle Rood graduated in 2012 with a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering. He teamed up with Clint in Mizzou's BioDesign and Innovation Program to launch two medical device startups, and served as the technical and engineering lead on both. Kyle has experience managing large projects from R&D to implementation, and handles operations and supply chain at Start Right.
