Team

  • Co-founder and CTO

    Steven is co-founder and CTO for StarSpec. With nearly a decade of engineering experience, Steven has been the chief architect in the mechanical design and analysis of high-precision state-of-the-art suborbital platforms and Princeton University and the University of Toronto. Steven has a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto specializing in novel mechanical design approaches for suborbital and space hardware.

    Javier is the co-founders and CEO of StarSpec. Javier has broad experience leading the successful design, implementation, and flight qualification of several state-of-the-art suborbital platforms at Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania. Javier received his PhD. in Aerospace Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto specializing in high fidelity control systems and flight software for space applications.

  • Co-founder and CFO

    John is one of StarSpec's co-founders and the company's CFO. With more than a decade of mechatronics and electrical engineering experience, John has designed, built, and successfully flown space-based instrumentation on a number of state-of-the-art suborbital platforms for cutting-edge scientific research. John has a PhD in Physics from the University of Toronto as well as industry experience in mechanics and electronics.
