Richard then became an independent consultant, continuing to work with a broad variety of technology platforms, industries and software, helping customers install new packages and fix broken ones. In 2004 Richard coalesced his knowledge to begin developing a leading edge, web-based EHR system, which he then licensed for usage to customers.
