Houston is a very large city, and Star Garden is an effort to bring that community closer together. Family and friends congregate best over two things: food and hard work. My idea was to have a "green" restaurant where the food was made by high school and college students being taught by chefs to cook and to use organic ingredients from a garden, which is being tended by professional gardeners who are teaching volunteers about gardening.
