Company Summary

Stabilitas was inspired by the founders’ experience in the US Military with various “Common Operating Picture” (COP) systems. Enabled by GPS and satellite communication hardware, these systems show the locations of friendly assets and objectives, as well as enemy threats. First piloted with the US Army, these systems have scaled across services and countries, and have become extremely sticky for both security and coordination functions.

Team

  • Stephen has decades of experience at startups in the Seattle area, where he's also served (and is still serving) as a leader in the Army Reserve and Washington National Guard. He has worked in diverse areas such as Wall Street, music and entertainment, and online security. He's accustomed to building great technology teams. Now, he's designing an incredibly scalable API that can be harnessed for the safety or travelers and even disaster relief.

  • Greg builds teams, a skill set he's learned following his graduation from West Point (2001) and while getting ready for combat in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Green Beret. He then completed a joint MBA-MPA/ID from Harvard's Business School and School of Government. He knew he would do something entrepreneurial after school, and so worked with Telecoms, top academic researchers, and at a investment bank (Tech Corp Fin) to hone skills for Stabilitas.

  • COO/Sales

Chris knows our customers better intimately, as he has worked in positions of responsibility in each of our sales verticals. A 2001 West Point 2001 graduate, Chris has led soldiers overseas, but he's also led civilians at engineering firms, worked at prestigious consultancies (McKinsey), and was most recently the Enterprise Risk Manager for Mercy Corps, a global non-profit with operations in 42 countries. He has 2 advanced degrees from Harvard.
