Sarah Redmond, founder of Springtide Seaweed, has extensive expertise in seaweed nursery systems and management, new crop development, farming systems, education and training, harvesting, processing, product development, and crop standards. Sarah is the recognized a leader in the seaweed aquaculture industry. She holds a Bachelors in Aquaculture from the University of Maine and a Masters in Marine Botany from the
University of Connecticut.

With a passion for agriculture and sustainable fisheries, Nick Pastore is an experienced farm manager on land and sea with experience with shellfish and seaweed aquaculture. He is one of the few industry professionals with substantial seaweed processing experience as a food product and fertilizer. He brings invaluable experience and an incredible work ethic.
