Dr. Cristian Grossmann, holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, both with honors, at ETH Zurich. Cris was born in Mexico and raised in a Swiss family of entrepreneurs. He was involved in building his father’s business from his early years on. Cris worked for two years with Accenture as an IT strategy consultant.

Flavio Pfaffhauser, holds a MSc in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. He built a cloud storage system focusing on loadbalancing and auto-scaling during his master thesis. Previous to Spocal, Flavio worked as a Software Engineer at Memonic developing scalable web applications.
