    After graduating in 2 years with two degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in Sociology and History, Mayon forgoed his original plans of attending Law School at Cal-Berkeley to begin a career as a motion picture producer. Mayon executive produced the motion picture “Against The Grain”, the documentary “A Love Supreme: U-N-I & Ro Blvd”, the short film "Lil Tokyo Reporter" and the television pilot "How To Succeed At Birth".

    Growing up in a family of filmmakers, Chris instead chose a career in radio broadcasting. In 2005, Chris was in charge of the $100 Million re-launch of KDAY in the Los Angeles FM
    broadcasting market. Aside from producing, Chris is also the Program Director for the FM station Q104 in San Bernardino California.

    Producer

    Derek put off pursuing an MBA after he graduated from Cal State Fullerton. He gained
    experience after completing an internship at Capitol Records during
    his undergraduate studies. He became the business manager for DRG Films in 2007. Derek
    became a producer on the documentary “A Love Supreme: U-N-I & Ro Blvd.” He has also
    served as one of the producers on the movie “Against The Grain” and on a number of music
    videos for DRG Films.

  • J.J. Parker
    Producer

    J.J. became a part of the DRG Films crew in 2007 after graduating from Cal State Fullerton with
    a degree in Communications. An internship at Warner Bros. Records gave him valuable
    experience in the entertainment business. Along with being a producer, he is currently the
    marketing director for the clothing company, Popular Demand and helped the company achieve over $1 Million in sales during it's 1st year of operation.

  • Reggie Jamal Reagor
    Director/Producer

    Reggie began his filmmaking career while he was in graduate school working on a double
    Masters Degree in English and Special Education. While he was training for a teaching career,
    Reggie began learning the craft of filmmaking as a writer and a director. As one of the co-founders of DRG Films, he has been working as a Writer, Director, and
    Producer since 2004 on documentaries, short films, music videos, and commercials.
