Alastair Thompson is the director of Speakle and the co-founder of Inspirados pelo Autismo, a brazilian company which educates and inspires parents of children with autism. Alastair has worked in education and special education since 1997 and focuses on optimizing the teacher-learner interaction. Alastair earned a BSc in Chemical Engineering in 1993 and a PGDE in Education in 2001. Alastair lives in Florianopolis with his wife and 2 children.

Iain Thompson has 9 years of experience in IT consulting and architecture. He has spent the last 5 years building multinational community and business portals. Iain has a BCom in Information Systems and Accounting and was a member of the management team that led the UK startup, Strategic Thought, to its successful floatation on the London Stock Exchange, which subsequently won an award for the best IPO of 2005.

Rob Sharpe has 10 years of experience in education and training related projects and is currently team leader on a 35-million-dollar training project for Canada’s largest telecommunications company. Rob has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Education, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Technology. He has been a professional educator since he was sixteen.
