Company Summary

Our company will provide a meeting place where the community can come and enjoy a great southern style meal and fellowship. Our atmosphere will be one of the 1940's Jazz Era; targeting the descendants of migrant southerners who made their way to the northeast in hopes of creating a better life for themselves and their children. Our restaurant will be a source of renewal for those still struggling day to day to achieve their life goals.

    Born in California, grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and then moved to Long Island, NY. Graduated with a B.S in Pyschology and two years later with a M.S.Ed in Special Education and Childhood Education. My background has enhanced my social skills and provides me with great experience in relating to mankind...at the end of the day we all need to feel a sense of belonging, health and safety! Southern Belle's Smokehouse will provide just that

    Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Christopher, has over 10 years combined managerial experience and two years of head chef experience. He currently is working as a Hazardous Material Commercial Truck Driver and is exciting about fulfilling our dreams of becoming restraunteurs! We love to cook and eat soul food!! We want to share our passion with other Soul Foodies and even introduce soul food to those that are unfamiliar with this delectable cuisine
